Resolutions

New Year Revolution Revised.

About a month ago I joined in with the rest of the world in declaring a critical

review of my previous year and deciding what 1 thing I would love to change

in the coming year. I concluded that I would attempt a no non-profit lifestyle

change. Now be certain my definition non-profit lifestyle, has nothing to do with tax code definitions, i am including here any organization, individual or entity that strives to

position its needs/desires/goals against yours. Hitherto I had interacted the with the world

in a open mind open heart disposition, which is not so much a invalid approach

as it is one that is the social equivalent of a Microsoft "security vulnerability".

thus this revolution/resolution is then a social path, initiated to secure any said vulnerability

against exploitation by "special interest "

At its root this resolution/revolution was not simply based on American greed (ego-hunger)

or the rejection of my dedication to helping others, rather it was an attempt to embrace the "hope and change" energy that the election of President Obama realized. However saying no to non-profit exploits, is the natural result of a self examination and discourse with others who have discovered that behind the "service to others" mantra is a morally bankrupt ideal and a semantic diatribe as half-baked and rational as any other coined misnomer created by special interest idealogs. "Service" in this context actually has about as much social value as the term "Partial birth abortion, sexuality conversion therapy" has in the medical community.

In reality the "non-profit' model is tantamount to self-mutilation and emotional manipulation. It is a means by which organizations, individuals and special interest create a pattern that displaces anyone's personal worthiness (spiritual to financial) , with indentured servitude in the name of

"helping others". The limits test of something that is truly worthy of being called helpful is its

universal usefulness. For example giving someone a where to receive free products or service

is helpful, because it allows the person giving the tip and the recipient to both receive products for free. Contrast this type of "help" with the idea of providing health care information to others in

in an environment that shows no regard for your health, this type of "service" provides for others at the exclusion of self. What type of "service" claims to empower a neglected sect of society, for example, women, and but also exploits this population? How about special interest manipulators?

So a month later, how well have I followed newfound philosophy? I'll give myself an B- for mostly remaining conscious of my goal but loosing points for possibly falling for a minor con-artist exploit.
